Ingredients:

  • Lane’s Applewood Rub
  • Wisham’s Raspberry Pepper Jelly
  • 2 cans of store bought crescent roll dough
  • 10-12 slices of prosciutto
  • 7oz of brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of honey, any variety
  • 2 tablespoons of butter, melted

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven or grill to 350 degrees F

2. Open cans of crescent dough and separate into individual wedges. Arrange wedges into circular pattern with the small pointy end facing outward. Use a small bowl or ramekin to help maintain shape during assembly.

3. Spread an even layer of raspberry pepper jelly on the dough around the center of the circle

4. Roll or fold slices of prosciutto and stack evenly on top of the pepper jelly, then add the slices of brie on top of the prosciutto.

5. Season generously with Lane’s Applewood Rub and then fold over small ends of dough, tucking the tips underneath the center of the ring.

6. Bake/Smoke for 20 minutes or until light browning is achieved on the top of the dough. Mix together, the honey and melted butter. Brush glaze over the top of the wreath and let bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until deeply browned and crispy on top.

7. Allow wreath to rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.

Recipe Note

1. You can substitute the prosciutto for bacon, ham, or your favorite savory sliced deli meat. If using bacon, you’ll want to precook the bacon, and feel free to season bacon directly before cooking.
2. Many of our rubs can be used for this, including Spellbound, Spellbound Hot, Kapalua, and Maple Pecan.
