Lanes BBQ – Honey Soy Salmon on a Plank

Lanes BBQ – Honey Soy Salmon on a Plank

The natural sweetness of the honey complements the bold umami flavor of the soy sauce, creating a harmonious balance of taste that perfectly accents the rich and tender flesh of the salmon. Cooking the fish on a plank adds depth to its smoky flavor, infusing it with just the right amount of char and woodsy notes. This preparation method also helps lock in moisture, ensuring that each bite remains juicy and succulent.

Honey soy salmon on a plank is the ultimate example of mouth-watering, finger-licking deliciousness. Imagine perfectly cooked salmon fillets infused with sweet and savory flavors, complemented by a smoky aroma from grilling on a wooden plank. This dish is an absolute crowd-pleaser that will leave your taste buds yearning for more. The combination of honey and soy creates a magical blend of tangy sweetness, giving the dish an irresistibly rich glaze. Whether you’re hosting a gathering with friends or simply indulging in some self-care time in your backyard, this recipe is guaranteed to impress even the most discerning palates. Filled with omega-3s and essential nutrients, honey soy salmon on a plank not only provides gustatory pleasure but also benefits your health – it’s truly an all-around winner for any occasion!

Ingredients:

Instructions:

1. Preheat grill/smoker to 350˚F.

2. Soak your choice of grilling plank in water for at least 30 minutes, up to 1 hour.

3. Season up your salmon fillet with Q-NAMI and place on your plank, then on to the grill for 15 minutes.

4. In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 2 tablespoons of honey. Brush this mixture over the salmon and cook for an additional 5 minutes to set the glaze.

5. Pull your plank and salmon off the grill and serve!
