Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp Dan-O’s Red Pepper Cheesoning® Seasoning ( you can use Original or Cheesoning® if you don’t like spicy )
- 8 oz Mozzarella cheese balls
- 1 Cup Bread Crumbs or Panko
- 2 Eggs, beaten with a fork for egg wash
- 1/2 Cup Flour
- 1 Cup Oil
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, mix Dan-O’s and breadcrumbs.
2. Remove mozzarella balls from packaging and pat dry.
3. Add the flour to a shallow dish.
4. Roll the cheese balls in the flour, then the egg wash, then the breadcrumb mixture. Make sure the cheese is completely coated.
5. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
6. Carefully place each piece of cheese in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 1 minute each.
7. Pat dry on a paper towel and serve with marinara or garlic sauce.
